Raissa Mpawenayo is a women’s advocate and enthusiast in empowering marginalized communities. She is also a force behind the operations at Raise Them Foundation. She oversees the logistical engine that powers the youth mentorship and community development programs. As an operations manager, she ensures that every training session, event, and outreach campaign runs smoothly from venue coordination to resource management, so that the impact reaches the heart of the community. A proud Mastercard Foundation Scholar and Bachelor’s student in Entrepreneurial Leadership at the African Leadership University, Raissa blends strategic thinking with a deep sense of purpose. Her previous work includes leading literacy initiatives for over 1,000 children with Rwanda Book Mobile to instill the love of reading in her fellow refugees.
