Jean Expert Niyonyishu is a mission driven changer maker and Co-Founder and Executive
Secretary of Raise Them Foundation, committed to empowering refugee and marginalized youth through education, mentorship, and sustainable livelihood programs. His work focuses on breaking barriers to quality learning, nurturing entrepreneurial mindsets, and fostering self-reliance in underserved communities. Jean is a graduand of BSc (Hons) in Entrepreneurial Leadership at the African Leadership University, Jean Expert is also a Mastercard Foundation Scholar, Yale Young African Scholars alumnus, and recipient of the Tony Elumelu Foundation Fund for his impactful work with refugee youth. He is the founder of Terimbere Ag, an enterprise equipping refugee youth Camp with income-generating skills. Anchored in a mission to create opportunities, enhance food security, and champion sustainable development, Jean Expert is shaping a future where Africa’s most vulnerable can thrive.
